These learning opportunities are provided each Sunday at 10:30am
For children age 3 through 4th grade, Godly Play uses a Montessori approach to create an environment in which children form community, learn the stories of our faith, and use these stories to explore life issues.
This year our 5th and 6th graders delve into the two great sacraments of the church, Holy Baptism and Holy Eucharist. They will participate in worship in a variety of ways throughout the year.
This curriculum for our 7th and 8th graders assists young people as they take the first steps of passage away from their families and into their own lives. This is the year they will “leave childhood” through their Rite-13 liturgy.
Journey to Adulthood
Our “J2A” 9th and 10th graders prepare for Confirmation and their holy Pilgrimage. They have adult mentors walking with them, attend a Confirmation retreat, they are involved in service projects in the community, and getting to know more parishioners.
Young Adults in Church
Our 11th and 12th graders (YAC) become involved as adults in parish life in new ways, while continuing to explore issues of faith at this important time in their lives.
Adults grab coffee and goodies before joining together for our Adult Forum. Each week the designated leader brings a topic and facilitates a discussion, about living faithfully in our world today. Sometimes it’s a movie clip, a magazine or newspaper article, a poem or story that kicks off the discussion.
