Michelle DeCoste will bless St. Monica’s Services this weekend (December 4 and 5) at both the 5:00 pm and 10:00 am Services of Holy Eucharist.  She will also be singing with St. Monica’s Choir for our Service of Advent Lessons and Carols on December 12 at 4:00 pm.

Soprano Michelle DeCoste is a highly sought-after professional soloist specializing in opera and concert work. Distinguishing herself in the classical and musical theatre genres, she has become known for her vocal range and dramatic flair. Recently she performed the role of Mimí in Puccini’s opera La Bohème with One World Symphony Orchestra in New York City. Michelle has also appeared with many regional companies in the US northeast including Barn Opera, Southern Vermont Lyric Theatre, Bennington Choral Society, and New Rochelle Opera. In Italy, she has performed with the Ravello Concert Society and the Amalfi Coast Music Festival. Michelle enjoys performing soprano soloist for seasonal concert works including Handel’s Messiah and Bach’s Weihnachts-Oratorium (Christmas Oratorio), among others. Michelle enjoys performing contemporary works and was a featured soloist at Merkin Concert Hall, NYC debuting Two Songs for Soprano by American Broadway composer Jed Feuer (Big Bang, Eating Raoul). Michelle is thrilled to be featured regularly as a guest National Anthem vocalist for Major & Minor League Baseball including the Miami Marlins, Philadelphia Phillies, and Fort Myers Mighty Mussels.
