Dear Friends,

Sometimes I feel like I just need to catch my breath. The pace of activity and change is fast. But it’s also exhilarating!

After two years of pandemic (and of course, it’s unclear what the future will hold in that regard), we are gathering again, much in the same way as we have in the past. However, now we have new leadership in our church on multiple levels. Moreover, many new groups are using our church. We even have restarted our services in Spanish – now we have fifteen new parishioners because of this service!

So, I pray that we can adjust and continue to do so. For example, the use of the kitchen will continue to change. We recently built more closet space in the Parish Hall that we will use to store things from the kitchen that we use in the Parish Hall, like plates and wine glasses. To achieve this, on April 9 from 9am to 12pm, we will clean out the kitchen and move some things into the new closets and we will beautify the rest of our campus with mulch.

Meanwhile, I look forward to seeing you on Saturday, March 26 at 3pm for the Celebration of New Ministry. This is a big event for us, and Bishop Smith will be here. We will have additional parking as needed at Eagles’ Nest, the church just west us next to the fire station. A celebration in the Parish Hall will follow. The next day on Sunday at 10am, the Bishop is with us again, and we will have parishioners confirmed, received, and baptized!

If you ever have any concerns about our changes, please let me know – I’d love to chat with you about it.

Peace and grace,

Fr. Jonathan
