Opportunity to Serve on the Endowment Committee

LETTER FROM OUR SR. WARDEN - ED STRONG

The Vestry approved establishment of a revised Endowment Committee at its March 19, 2026 meeting. This came about by a huge amount of research done by Frank Dowd, Doug Ball, and Tracy Connelly. It also followed on the realization that the original endowment committee resolution from 2014 was totally out of date and had not been followed for years.

The Vestry Resolution and Charter ( LINK HERE ) outlines the structure of the revitalized committee and the initial charge to develop recommendations on an endowment strategy for funds bequeathed to the church. The policy will address both bequests designated to the existing Endowment Fund and those bequests that are not dedicated to the Endowment Fund.

Following the resolution is the charge to the committee which outlines initial responsibilities.

This is a three member committee.

Please prayerfully consider your strengths in this area and if you find this is a good fit for you, please apply to be considered as a member of the committee.

We would appreciate all applications be submitted by April 13.
